The Marriott Alfa and Sofitel Le Grand Ducal are both right by the station and both excellent, but at $280-$300 they aren’t budget — book them for the location and comfort, not to save money. Novotel Luxembourg Centre on Rue du Laboratoire is closer to $193 but sits a little further back, about a 7-8 minute walk, so you pay mid-range money for a slightly longer haul.
