Morning to lunch
Start 9am at Konrad Cafe for breakfast ($12). Walk to Place Guillaume II, past the cathedral, and out onto Chemin de la Corniche for the first big view down over Grund. Enter the Bock Casemates around 10.30am before coach tours arrive ($12, one hour). Emerge, descend via the Montee du Grund to the valley floor, cross the Alzette, stop at the Neumunster Abbey ($0 for the grounds and cloister). Lunch at Um Dierfgen ($25).
Afternoon and evening
After lunch, take the Pfaffenthal panoramic lift back up ($0) for a different perspective. Wander Ville Haute, stop at MNAH if you have museum energy ($8).
