The adjacent park is landscaped 19th-century elegant. The Casino 2000 next door provides evening entertainment. The town itself is small (around 5,000 people) and neat, oriented around spa and casino guests.

Stay here for a spa-focused break, a quiet couple's weekend, or if you’re crossing to France (border 2 km south). Skip if you want cultural sightseeing — there's essentially none in the town itself. Prices are higher than surrounding towns because of the spa clientele, but package deals through spa-hotel combinations often make it competitive. Winter is prime spa season; summer sees more mixed tourism.

Getting there

No train to Mondorf. Bus 302 from Luxembourg City takes about 40-45 minutes, free, running every 30-60 minutes. Bus 303 also serves the town. From Findel airport, allow 75 minutes with transfer. Cars use the A3 south then N16 — 25 minutes from the capital. Parking around the spa is generally paid but affordable. Walking inside Mondorf covers everything within 15 minutes.
