From the Théâtre stop, walk south down Avenue de la Faïencerie past the Marx bookshop-cafe and the bistro cluster around Um Plateau, cross Boulevard Robert Schuman at the Rond-point Schuman by the Grand Théâtre, and descend into Ville Haute via Rue Notre-Dame, emerging by the cathedral's twin spires.
